Many factors encompass our sachet designs.  To better serve our clients in the design process, we must consider various details.  Such elements as scent, size, fabric, shape, filling, embellishment, and intended use are all reviewed.  Our expertise in design results in sachets that are appropriate for you or your business.

Scent - All sachets are scented in the fragrance of your choice.  We have hundreds of scents and use the finest of fragrances.  Typically, we choose scents that are appropriate for you or your business, and express a certain theme or feeling.  In choosing scents, we also need to consider who will be receiving the sachets.  While an intricate, perfume-like scent may be your personal favorite, usually familiar or singular scents work best for mass appeal.  This may be of particular interest if you plan on using sachets in hotel guestrooms, or if you're using sachets as gifts to people that you don't know intimately, such as with a corporate promotion, for example.  Likewise, if the sachets are going to be used as party or wedding favors, it's advantageous to choose a singular or familiar scent that's known to be a favorite with many.  We will use our expertise to consider all factors and formulate appropriate scent solutions for you or your business.  You can also click here for scent ideas.                   

Size - Sachets can be anywhere from 3 x 4 inches to as large as 9 inches.

Fabric - Sachets are made from fabrics that allow the scent to permeate the air.  Such fabrics as organza, lace, and satin work best.  Fabrics are also available in a variety of colors.

Shape - Sachets can be made in a variety of shapes.  For example, they can be oblong, square, more rounded, or gathered.

Filling - The filling is used as a vehicle to convey the scent.  The filling can also be a way to add color or texture to the design.  Typical fillings include natural botanicals, sparkling fragrance beads, rock crystal, or special padded inserts.  Sometimes the filling helps to convey the theme of the sachet.  We mix our own fillings so we can achieve the desired colors, texture, and theme.  Most fillings have no inherent scent so they can be fragranced in any way.  However, there a few botanical fillings (such as rosebuds) that impart their own natural scent which will blend with the added fragrance.  So, as an example, adding a vanilla fragrance to a rosebud filling would result in a beautiful, vanilla rose scent.  We will use our expertise to determine the right filling for your sachets.        

Embellishment - Sachets can be simple or quite extravagant.  The possibilities of embellishments are endless.  We can incorporate such things as sequins, Swarovski crystals, rosettes, genuine gemstones, beaded fringe, satin ribbon, imprinted ribbon, charms, and petite message cards with a logo or other image.  It's always best to consider the theme or appropriateness of the sachet when choosing embellishments.

Intended Use - Sachets can be used in drawers, suitcases, or other bags.  Small sachets can be inserted in shoes.  Sachets with hanging ribbons can be suspended from closet or curtain rods, hooks, or doorknobs.  Magnets can be added to the back of sachets for use on a refigerator or in a locker.  Sachets can be gift boxed as well.
