COMPANY PROFILE

Christiano Design was founded in 1985 by Angela Graves.  Angela worked as a freelance Illustrator and Designer for many advertising agencies.  When she started Christiano Design, she focused on advertising and graphic design, and won several awards for her work.  A few years later, Angela shifted toward product design.  Her first product, a keepsake box entitled "Every Cloud Has a Silver Lining," hit the market with great success.  Other box designs followed.  Soon, Angela was getting requests to design items that could fit into the boxes.  She decided to create coordinating scented sachets.  Encouraged by the success of designing sachets, Christiano Design transformed into a manufacturer of scented products.  Eventually, the product line expanded to include room fragrances and scented bath and body products.  In April of 2004, Christiano Design launched Birthscent®, a new concept for the fragrance and gift industries.  Today, Angela Graves continues to head Christiano Design and involves herself in all aspects of the company.  Her professional experience in art proves useful in the development of products for Christiano Design.  Like an artist who blends colors, Angela is able to formulate creative, scented products.  Angela has also written articles for trade publications on the subject of scented sachets.  In November 2005, she authored "The Sweet Smell of Success" for "The Rooms Chronicle."  Angela also continues to paint, and has most recently exhibited her work at The Delaware Center for the Contemporary Arts.
